Normally a flat day of 155km is something you look forward to during a stage race. You let a few riders go and then bring them back in a steady pace and everything ends up in a bunch sprint. Today was different, as it wasn't just windy, it was stormy! We knew it would be a hard and difficult day, as the wind makes racing very difficult. In the end, I had a great team who kept me out of trouble all day. And this despite the attempts of several other teams trying putting me out the back. Tomorrow is the crucial time trial, and we'll only know tomorrow if I was able to hold on to the leaders jersey or not.
This is the starting list of tomorrows time trial. I'm off at 14.16
