Again we had a hard and long stage to conquer today. My team was brilliant, racing smart and united, never being under pressure even if other teams and riders were trying to attack us. I had a good day and was able to keep all my closest rivals in the general classification behind me over the finish line. Tomorrow is a flatter stage. This means there will hopefully be some other teams who will help with the speed keeping, as they set their sprinter up for a bunch sprint.
