Fortunately this mornings poring rain stopped a few hours before the first start of today's prolog at the Criterium du Daphiné. I started without any expectations, only convinced to at least give my best. A rain shower during the middle of the race may have played into my favor somewhat, but I'm still happy with the general sensations during my race . I finished in 14th position. Tomorrow is the first real stage, 144km long (short) with a mountaintop finish.
Not the most inspiring weather to wake up to...
