I'm now in San Sebastian in my hotel-room after a long day. Getting up before 06:00 and traveling for half a day messes my body up. I flew in to Bilbao, with a connection in Paris on the way. After another hour in the car and a light lunch in the hotel restaurant it was time for today's ride. Choosing between going on a stationary trainer or an actual ride, the choice seemed clear, but after the hour and a half in the rain, I'm not sure it was the right decision... Apart from the bad weather, I felt terrible on the bike, my legs hardly wanted to pedal at all. Well, it's part of the job, traveling all the time and just not letting the bad days get to you. Sometimes, it's easier said than done... Now some TV before calling it a night, need some extra sleep ahead of tomorrows first stage of the Pais Vasco. Good night.
