Have been relaxing for a couple of days after Corsica and enjoying Monaco. Something I learned during the last two seasons on the road is that I need to recover more than I have. Compared to my mountainbiking days where I only raced one day per week, one or two days of easy riding was enough to feel fresh again. After a week-long race, or even a weekend-long race such as Criterium International I now take a day or two extra before forcing my heart-rate higher than 155bpm.
Anyway, has been really quiet in and around Monaco. It's one of the best times of year here right now; the weather is good but there are few tourists. But as every week passes it gets more and more busy.
The tourists are coming...
A sure sign that the tourist season is starting... Cruise ships!
