Training Routines

Life as a cyclist is pretty static, I more or less have the same routines every day. I get up at 7.50 and prepare and have breakfast. Depending on what and with who I will train, I leave for training sometime between 9-11 o'clock. I'm back between 13-16, do some core exercises and then have a shower. After some lunch I'll try go get some rest on the sofa, watching TV, a film or just surfing the web. After an hour I get up and have a "fika" (coffee and maybe something sweet with it). After that I often go for a walk, just to get some blood flowing in the legs again. Finally it's time for dinner and then I'll relax some more before going to bed. Rest days are great, as they offer the opportunity to change these routines. The other day I had some errands to do in town, and managed to get some lunch on the beach. Got some sweet glasses from my personal sponsor Adidas Eyewear which were very appropriate for the occasion. Tomorrow I'm off to Corsica for "Criterium International", a two day, three stage race. My form is not at top, but I have felt better and better every day this week. The cold caught during Paris-Nice really got to me, but I'm optimistic about getting into good form within a few weeks. That's all for now.

Monaco is warming up! Monaco is warming up!

Monaco is warming up, this is from a few days ago. Today was even warmer, with temperatures reaching 20 degrees.
