Since quite a while I decided it was time to upgrade my coffee machine. Well actually, getting one, as here in Monaco I have only been using a traditional "mocca maker". A much to big one, making me caffeine-high every morning after my two cups for breakfast. But I've done something unexpected as a coffee lover... I've got myself a capsule coffee machine. Not even a Nespresso one. It's a Caffitaly machine. We have one in the team bus, and I found it much better than the Nespresso machines. The capsules have 8gr instead of 5gr of coffee, and there are several different brands who make capsules. There is also the possibility of making barley-, tea- and chocolate-drinks. But the two main reasons why I chose a capsule machine are the following: It requires little space, and I can have a normal coffee in the morning and have a decaf in the afternoon without needing a second grinder or constantly monitoring the amount of beans in the grinder. So, there you go, now I just need some time to see if the coffee at home tastes as good as it does at the races. Stay tuned for a report.
Sorry all you coffee lovers...
I know it's not a "real" coffee maker...
But having limited space calls for drastic measures! And this machine offers a wider range of types and producers of capsules.
