Almost all races have a lot of traveling from the hotels to the start of the stage. In this years Paris-Nice there is an awful amount of distance to cover in the bus, both before and after the start of each stage. For example, this morning we did over 100km to get to the start and right now we're in the bus again as we have 215km to cover to get to the next hotel. As I'm writing this it's 20:30, and I probably will not get a massage tonight as there will be no time. Well it's just part of cycling I guess. The race today was the hardest stage so far. I was on the attack to get into a breakaway in the first 50kms of the race, but never managed to get away. With 40km to go the race exploded and the early efforts to get into the break took its toll. Tomorrow is the only time-trial of the race, but I will most likely not do it at 100% effort in order to save my legs a little for the last two stages on Saturday and Sunday.
