First stage of the Paris-Nice done. It was a shorter stage, about 155km, all flat. As was expected it was quite nervous, but surpricingly few crashes. The weather was great, although cold, but it warmed up nicley towards the end of the stage. This morning the whole team had to do doping test's, something quite common at races. They wake us up early (I think around 7-ish today, so not too bad) and have us leave urin and/or blood samples. Today it was only blood. It's something I will not complain about, since it's the way to go for a cleaner sport. Anyway, back to the race: I didn't have super legs today, but I can only hope that today "opened up" the legs and that tomorrow I will feel better.
Today all I have is a photo from my hotelroom here in Paris
