Yesterdays third stage of the Volta Algarve was a good chance to test the legs, as the stage finished with a 2.6km climb at an average of 10%. In total we did 195km, again on very hilly terrain. I finished in 13th position, around 20seconds down on the winner of the stage. It's a result I'm happy with, as it's a confirmation that I'm on the right track.
After all stages we ride the team bus back to the hotel. This always gives us the possibility to reflect and discuss the days stage.
